What I Care About

and why I need your help

I will be dead before the real shit hits the fan here in my beloved country and here on planet earth. But my children and grandchildren will live with this mess that’s going on right this minute for the rest of their lives. Our actions today will determine how long my children and yours will live and the quality of life they will be living in. We all want to do something to save our democracy but we don’t know how to make a difference that will really change things.

I have an idea.

But, first my grandchildren that deserve a country and planet worth living on:

I remember thirty eight years ago holding my daughter when she was two years old. I know you too cherish holding your own children and grandchildren.

We aren’t going to let a little sociopath take our country and planet away from us. We are sooo much more than he is.

We all have specific talents that we can use to defeat him. For example, I know an attorney in NYC. His name is David Gold. He is speaking up for all of us to get our country back to the country we all know and cherish. David was one of the attorneys that went to Florida to help Al Gore secure the presidential election. Remember that election where Jeb Bush, governor of Florida, called off the recount of the ballets so his brother, George, could be president who then took the country to war to defend against those very hard to find Weapons Of Mass Destruction? Yes, that election. That power grab. It changed David from a regular attorney to a superman trying to save our democracy.

But David can’t do it alone. He needs our help. Actually, he needs some specific kind of help. David’s website needs some humor. It’s a little dry, a little lawyerly. I could go on but I’ll stick with dry.

Click on any part of it. Pick a couple of sentences and see if you can say the same thing with humor. I’ll give it a try. I picked the first two sentences:

If you prefer words you could say:

Trump says, ‘I’m a crook. What are you doing to do about it? Absolutely nothing.’

I recognize that this is a little loose but David can make it sound more ‘lawyerly’. David has the vision on how to remake our country into the law abiding place we all want to live in and feel proud to be its citizen. What he is looking for are some snarky graphic designers and equally snarky positive writers. Taking Trump down takes a village. David is our leader. I read way too many substacks and news articles but none of them spell out the solution as clearly as David does. He’s done the work for all of us. He has it figured out. He just needs some worker bees to make it happen.

Mark Wasco, you have access to well over a thousand artists through your museum. Would you be willing to send out a request for graphic art help and snarky writers who would like to help David save our country? David would credit their work on his site.

I collect images from all kinds of sources. I like this one but haven’t found the right place to post it yet. Mark, maybe one of your artists could use it. Trump is sooo corrupt and awful to look at, there are images everywhere.

Has there ever been a president this corrupt that artists post truly disturbing pictures of him on line? Would anyone even think of making a 6,000 pound statue of Biden? The outrageous images say it all. He is an evil man who must go. Help David send him to a quiet jail cell in El Salvador. David, please contact McDonald’s. Ask them to supply FatBoy with a short life time supply of burgers there. Thanks.
